At Fast Folders, your privacy is a top priority. This extension is developed and maintained by an independent developer, and is designed to operate entirely on your local device without sending or storing any personal data externally.

1. What Data Is Collected


Fast Folders extension does not store any of your data, it is stored locally on your machine using Chrome’s local storage. The only data stored is:

  • Folder names, Folder colour, structure, Prompts, Tags, Fast Folder Settings.
  • Saved chat names and associated URLs.

2. Where Your Data Is Stored


All data is stored locally on your machine using Chrome’s local storage. Fast Folders does not:

  • Transmit data to external servers
  • Use analytics, cookies, or third-party services
  • Access your browser history or any unrelated browser activity

3. Why “unlimitedStorage” Permission Is Required


Fast Folders requests the "unlimitedStorage" permission in order to:

  • Allow users to create and store a large number of folders and chat entries
  • Prevent storage-related issues or data loss
This permission only increases storage capacity it does not allow access to other browser data.

4. Data Removal


When you uninstall Fast Folders:

  • All locally stored data is automatically deleted
  • No data remains on your system or is retained elsewhere
  • You will be redirected to a uninstall feedback form

5. Your Rights


Because no personal data is collected, stored, or processed, standard data subject rights under regulations such as the GDPR (e.g. right to access, delete, or export data) are inherently met your data never leaves your device.
